What is a DBA | FBN?

DBA stands for "doing business as" and FBN stands for “fictitious business name”. These terms are the official and public registration of a business name in your state/county. DBA’s and FBN’s are also known as Assumed Names and Trade Names. Once you register a business name (DBA) you may open a business bank account and establish, produce or file for other additional licenses/permits.
